[flo#5] is large scale photographic collage created specifically for the 2010 DUMBO Arts Festival. It invites the viewer to scrutinize the seemingly banal construction detritus currently littering the area directly around 111 Front Street. Due to work being done under, on, and above the streets, the immediate area has become an impassable labyrinth of fences, dumpsters, piles, barrels, cones, pipes, signs, holes, and caution tape. [flo#5] acknowledges the idiosyncratic nature of objects left to fend for themselves on the street before their sculptural forms are dismantled and moved on to a new location.
